Order delays

There may be occasional delays in product availability, shipping, and customs, which can be frustrating but are unavoidable. We regularly follow up on the progress and keep you informed. Please note that Curatr cannot take responsibility for processes beyond our direct control.

Measuring for size

The customer is responsible for the final selection of size, as we cannot rely on averages in images. However, we are happy to provide recommendations.

Backorders and availability

‘Backorder’ means that the product is not immediately available but can still be ordered. We reserve the right to decline importing products if the costs are not proportional. This decision will be made at our discretion and may include adjustments to pricing where necessary. Some products are digitally printed on polycotton canvas, while others are high-quality art prints. Please note, the artwork may vary slightly in colour.

We also reserve the right to offer a similar product when possible and to withdraw products at any time.

Product and price changes

Some products are sourced locally, while others are imported. Prices may change if necessary, particularly for imported items. In such cases, we reserve the right to adjust prices based on factors like shipping costs, exchange rates, and customs fees. We import products at our discretion, ensuring that costs align with the product’s value or upon acceptance of adjusted pricing. Additionally, we may withdraw products at any time and, when possible, offer a similar alternative.

Payment options

Once you’re ready to check out, you can place your order and choose to pay via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or Payfast, a secure payment gateway. Your order will be processed once the payment is reflected in our bank account. Bank details are available on the order should you choose to pay via EFT.

Returns and refunds

Our products aren’t insured during transit, but we follow a thorough quality process before dispatch to ensure your product has no defects and is packaged properly.  If the product arrives and is damaged, please send us photos along with a description of the issue so we can contact our courier where necessary. If you’re dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us. Curatr reserves the right to replace the product or provide a voucher to the value at our discretion. Should the product be returned, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and ensuring the product is properly packaged to avoid damage.

We commit to make a fair and ethical decision, yet we reserve our rights as above.

Curatr does not offer refunds but will provide a voucher for the value of the product purchased, minus the courier fee paid by Curatr. The voucher will be valid for three (3) years.

In exceptional cases, Curatr may offer a refund at our discretion, based on a case-by-case evaluation. If a refund is granted, it will be issued via the original payment method, minus the courier fees.
